In the same way that Uber and Cabify let you request a vehicle to take you from one point to another in the city, DiDi lets you do the same. There are, however, only 400 cities that DiDi works in worldwide, which means you cannot get a ride if you are not in one of them.
Having said that, the only thing you need to do to use DiDi is to register an account and add your real phone number. You will have to indicate your current location after creating an account, and a vehicle will be on its way to pick you up within minutes (if you are lucky).
Similarly to other apps of this type, DiDi allows you to make payments within the app. The DiDi app also allows you to write a review for your driver and his vehicle, ensuring you a pleasant and comfortable ride around the city every time.
Uber, Go-Jek, Cabify, and other similar apps are great alternatives to DiDi, an interesting transport app.
DiDi Rider, the world's leading on-demand transportation network, provides rides in Australia, Japan, and select Latin American countries.
The '99' app can be downloaded from the App Store if you want to use our services in Brazil.
DiDi can be used in China by downloading the app DiDi-Greater China (China mainland / Hong Kong SAR).
You can request a trip by following these steps:
- You will need to download the app and create a user account after you download it.
- Please select the location where you would like to be picked up and dropped off before requesting a trip.
- The driver and vehicle information will be displayed once we've found a driver. Every driver-partner on our platform is vetted before joining. Also, you can find out where the driver is taking you and when they will arrive.
- Your preferred payment method can be used directly in the app at the end of your trip.
- First and foremost, safety! Using the Safety Toolkit in our app, you can share your ride status, set Trusted Contacts, and use the Emergency Button.
